Moissanite is a naturally occurring precious mineral, but because of its rarity and technological advances  they are now made in in a lab, making them a sustainable diamond alternative, scoring just under the hardness score of a Diamond, they are incredibly durable and measure a 9.25 on the Mohs harness  scale.
